We can’t emphasise enough the significance of the interaction between submarines and vessels like Corvettes and Destroyers. We needed to find the tension in the combat, rather than just saying, ‘Click here to attack.’

It’s important to acknowledging the importance of detail and realism in combat, but we’re a small team, and we’ve always found it crucial to communicate with the community. We ask them what’s right, what’s wrong, and what they’d like to see in general.

The introduction of various weather conditions prompted the us to enhance combat mechanics further. While submerged or in bad weather, submarines can now be spotted through sonar and, when researched, radar, No longer can you simply manoeuvre to a submarine’s last known location and attack.

It’s advantageous to reduce speed, as louder engines and adverse weather can significantly impact submarine hunting. Additionally, you can set depth charges to different depths, as submarines won’t be just sitting there waiting for you to attack, they will be manoeuvring and attempting to get into position to attack themselves.
